King Charles has a lot going on. He’s still battling cancer, and though he is reportedly doing better, he is not in remission like Kate Middleton. Plus, he’s trying to keep the British royal family from being dragged under the weight of former prince Andrew’s scandals. Plus, he’s trying to fix his relationship with his youngest son, Prince Harry. It’s a lot.
And then there’s Sarah Ferguson, who is reportedly planning a tell-all book that could rock the monarchy. Fergie was on the inside enough to have a lot of information, after all. Plus, the monarchy is already facing serious and important questions regarding how much they protected Andrew and how much everyone in the family knew about his association with Epstein.

“It’s widely known that Fergie is being wooed to do a book and very close to signing a deal,” a source told In Touch. “She is prepared to lift the lid on everything from the treatment Princess Diana endured to bad behavior within the Firm that she claims has never been properly addressed. For the palace, this is a nightmare scenario.”
For Fergie, who is as mixed up in the Epstein scandal as her ex-husband, Andrew, this is reportedly her “ticket to redemption.”
“The public will finally understand her side of the Epstein drama, but she’ll also lay out what she says she was forced to endure in the monarchy. Fergie claims she’s been scapegoated for years,” the source said. “Plus, she’s going to earn an absolute fortune from the book, which she desperately needs.”
But will King Charles just sit still and let this happen, or will he take Fergie to “court”? “The possibility of suing to stop Sarah is on the table,” the source said. “King Charles III and Prince William both believe she has the potential to cause lasting damage to the already shaky monarchy, so the feeling is they need to take a very hard stance. If that means getting the courts involved, so be it.”
Fergie has not been seen in public since last year and is believed to be abroad. She has reportedly spent time at wellness centers in Switzerland and Ireland in the last few months, but according to People, “Sarah Ferguson‘s whereabouts remain unknown following the arrest of her ex-husband.”
And she might have a vested interest in staying away, after reports that she could also be investigated and that, at the very least, she is set to be questioned in the Andrew investigation. A source told Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice” Substack that she is hiding in the United Arab Emirates, where she’s staying with a wealthy friend who’s offered her security, privacy, and refuge after Andrew’s arrest. “She has gone into the fire,” the insider said. “This isn’t a holiday. It’s survival. She will be arrested next if she returns to the UK.” The source added, “It’s only a matter of time — it’s inevitable.”
All those things considered, will she really be writing a book? We’ll have to wait and see.
