Everyone knew that the arrest of the former prince Andrew would have a trickle-down effect in the monarchy. After all, even though Andrew was stripped of his titles and evicted from Royal Lodge has year, the royal family is still trying very hard to separate themselves from him. Especially amid questions that a lot of people knew about his relationship with Epstein and kept quiet. But how has this affected Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie?
Reports indicate it’s caused tension in both of their marriages, and according to The Daily Mail, Princess Eugenie’s husband is choosing to focus on his immediate family. The outlet reported that Jack Brooksbank‘s “code of honour” means he will not “completely desert Andrew and Sarah” but he refuses to “step into the line of fire himself.”

‘”His first loyalty has to be to his wife and their two young children. The whole sordid affair has already brought them a great deal of unwarranted attention and he won’t do anything to increase that,” the source added.
Brooksbank is the owner of a company, AEB Consultants Ltd, and is reportedly now facing the possibility that he and Eugenie could be “tainted by association.”
“Jack has worked very hard building his business, and it’s going well, so the last thing he needs is for the Epstein scandal to taint that. He will do everything he can to keep his head below the parapet because of that,” sources say.
And both he and Eugenie are reportedly not in favor of her mother, Sarah Ferguson, coming to live with them—despite reports to the contrary. “Eugenie and Jack are resisting any suggestion from her mother that she should come and live with them. Because to be frank Sarah is difficult to live with and they don’t want the responsibility of looking after her at the moment.”
“That’s not to say they are not concerned about her welfare – they just don’t actually want her to be living with them, even temporarily,” a second source said.
All of this comes after the outlet had previously reported about Beatrice’s marriage also being at a weird place since Andrew’s arrest, with The Daily Mail reporting that friends of the two have become concerned that Edoardo Mapelli Mozi is distancing himself when Beatrice needs him the most. He is reportedly “keen to avoid his business being tainted by the scandal enveloping the House of York.”
“Things haven’t been great for a while between them, but Beatrice has been determined to soldier on and forge a path through,” sources said. “Beatrice is quite different from her sister [Princess Eugenie]. She really wants to almost naively see the good in people and will turn a blind eye to uncomfortable truths — that is why she was blind to her father’s behaviour, and the same is true of her belief in Edo.”
“She wants to stay together, but he seems more and more distracted by work and travel. Just when she needs him most, he’s been pulling away.”
Another source added, “He’s really worried his in-laws will affect his business…He’s all about himself at the moment. You have to feel for Beatrice.”
