The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding is shaping up to be the celebrity wedding of the year, and that was true even before we had any real information about when the wedding would happen, who would be invited, or what Swift would be wearing. Just the fact that Swift and Kelce were getting married is enough. People have been interested in their relationship from before they started officially dating, after all.
But when are they getting married? What’s the wedding date? Here’s everything we know.

According to US Weekly, the wedding is set to take place on June 13 in Rhode Island. And what a road it’s been for the couple, who announced their engagement last August with a joint Instagram post that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” After the engagement announcement, Kelce finished off his NFL season. Swift was busy promoting her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. And then came planning.
“They’re both involved and making decisions together,” one source said, adding that they are “focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure. They’re keeping things light.”
Another source told the outlet that the wedding party will likely be split between Swift’s Rhode Island mansion and Ocean House, a seaside resort nearby. “The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding [will be split between the venues],” said the source. But apparently, there are alternatives. “Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario.”
But sources indicate Rhode Island feels like a good spot for them. “They feel confident hosting it there. The entire area will be very private and guarded.”
Who is actually coming? Despite reports that it’ll be a huge wedding, sources say they’ve invited about 150 people only. “It won’t be a huge wedding, but there will be many celebrities.” That’s to be expected, considering Swift’s friends include Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Emma Stone, among others. Meanwhile, Kelce is close with teammate Patrick Mahomes and actor Miles Teller. And big brother Jason Kelce will, of course, be there.
“They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private,” says one of the sources. “As of now, they’ve scaled it down. It’s no longer going to be a massive blowout.” And apparently, invitations have not been sent. And perhaps they won’t be. However, “their closest friends and family know the venue and the date,” the source explained, “even if nothing formal has been sent out.”
Reports indicate the date is much more related to Kelce’s offseason timeline than the fact that 13 is Swift’s lucky number, and that the two just want time to marry and go on a honeymoon before Kelce needs to be back to training. And though there are no details, Swift has apparently already chosen her wedding dress.
Sources say we can expect the wedding to skew traditional, “with Taylor’s dad walking her down the aisle and all the classic touches, like the father-daughter and mother-son dances.” Why not? “Taylor loves those emotional, meaningful moments, and Travis [is] on the same page.”
And though reportedly Swift won’t have bridesmaids, her closest friends will still be part of her special day. “She has already asked her close girlfriends, like Selena and Gigi, to sleep over at her Rhode Island home the night before the wedding,” one source disclosed.
Sounds like the wedding of Taylor (and Travis)’s dreams.
