Taylor Swift’s Bachelorette Party Guest List Officially Confirms if She’s Still Close with 1 Controversial Friend
Now that we have a date and some details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding, fans of the singer have started dissecting every little thing. Swifties love their clues, after all. And Taylor Swift’s wedding was always going to be as close to a royal wedding as we’re likely to get this side of the pond.
And one of the biggest questions so far has to do with Swift’s bachelorette party. Swift, after all, has very famous friends. Is Selena Gomez coming? What about Gigi Hadid? Are Swift and Blake Lively on good enough terms for her to be invited? And what about Brittany Mahomes?

Sources tell Us Weekly that Swift may be planning two separate girls’ trips to make sure all her friends can attend. New York City, Nashville, and the Bahamas are reportedly options.
“There could be multiple getaways, and they all will be extremely private, with just Taylor and her close girlfriends,” an insider said.
Who are those on the list? According to a source, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana, Kylie Kelce, Brittany Mahomes, and childhood BFF Abigail Anderson “are planning something special for Taylor ahead of her big day.”
Notably absent from the list? Blake Lively, who for years was considered one of Swift’s closest friends. The two have reportedly not spoken in months after Swift felt like she was put in the middle of Lively’s legal drama with It Ends With Us, co-star and director Justin Baldoni. In fact, some of Swift’s texts to Lively have even been released as Lively and Baldoni continue fighting each other in court, which has reportedly left Swift feeling like she was used.
But a name that some expected might not be on the list is: Brittany Mahomes. There were rumors that Swift and Brittany, the wife of Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes, had a falling out over differing political opinions. Swift famously endorsed Kamala Harris in the last election and has had to put up with a number of insults from US President Donald Trump. Brittany Mahomes, meanwhile, has shown her support for the Trump administration. After the election, the two weren’t seen together as much as they were before.
Who ends up making the list might end up being a matter of timing. “Everyone’s scattered across the world,” Swif told former Spice Girl Emma Bunton on the U.K.’s Heart Radio in October 2025. “You would think that I had been the type of person who would’ve obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person, so I haven’t actually even thought about that.”
At the time, Swift said that her iconic friend group was “so fun, but they’re so busy.”
Hopefully not so busy they can’t come together to celebrate Taylor Swift’s upcoming nuptials. And until the day comes and goes without Blake Lively attending, there’s always a chance that friendship isn’t doing as badly as we might think.
