Beatrice’s Marriage Reportedly ‘Hanging by a Thread’ as Sources Claim She ‘Resents’ Her Husband While ‘Every Aspect of Her Life’ Is ‘Ruined’
Marriage means taking on the troubles of your spouse, and when it comes to Princess Beatrice, those troubles these days are quite large. Although Beatrice has not been accused of anything herself—beyond suggestions she might have accepted money she shouldn’t have—both her parents have been named in the Epstein files, and her father was arrested for suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Andrew was released and is now living by himself in King Charles’ estate in Sandringham, where he hasn’t been visited by his daughters. Fergie, meanwhile, hasn’t been seen in public since last December and is reportedly not staying with Beatrice or Eugenie. So, there have been some attempts by the York sisters to separate themselves from their parents. But is it enough?

Closer Magazine recently reported that Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, aren’t exactly seeing eye to eye on how to handle the situation: “Edo wants Beatrice to draw a line in the sand with her parents. From his perspective, creating some distance is the only thing to do right now if they want to save their own skins but Beatrice isn’t willing to do it.”
“Despite everything that’s happened, she still feels a deep sense of loyalty to her parents, she’s not willing to turn her back on them and she resents Edo for even suggesting it,” the source said. “To him it’s a matter of survival and he’s telling friends she’s making a huge mistake, he’s clearly pretty angry about it so unless one of them suddenly changes course, it could cause some serious problems within their marriage.”
And it could end up affecting the marriage. “Beatrice is panicking and has told friends she’s worried that he’s pulling away. She’s saying this is all her parents’ fault, that things were perfect between her and Edo before they turned the family name radioactive. She says they’ve ruined nearly every aspect of life and now it’s threatening her marriage,” they added, alleging that “things between her and Edo are hanging by a thread.”
Questions about the marriage started swirling when Mapelli Mozzi posted a series of videos on social media of the luxury apartments his company is working on in Palm Beach, Florida. The carousel included footage of him in the area. And that was enough to raise red flags, especially considering what a complicated time this is for Beatrice.
An insider told the magazine, “Edo was used to a certain lifestyle and level of access that came with being attached to the Royal Family, and now that things have shifted, it’s not sitting well with him at all. There’s a growing sense that he’s questioning this new dynamic in the marriage, especially because this has impacted his social standing and status is important in his world.”
That’s not all. “Edo has been escaping to America more and more. He claims he needs to be there for work but of course it looks like he’s abandoning ship and leaving Beatrice to handle things on her own and that’s certainly her complaint, though she’d never admit that publicly.”
