Hannah Montana fans, set your alarms: Starting at 6 a.m. PST on March 26, you can book a free one-night stay through Airbnb at Hanna’s iconic Malibu beach house. It’s available April 6-16, and it truly does not cost a single penny to book (yes, seriously), so if you already have spring break plans, no you don’t.
Timed pretty perfectly with the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations, Airbnb teamed up with Disney and transformed the IRL Malibu property into Hannah Montana’s house—specifically her secret fashion closet, which I was lucky enough to get to tour. While Hannah’s “closet” was actually filmed on a studio soundstage, the home itself was where all the exterior scenes were shot.
And let me tell you: The house is epic. When you book your stay, you get access to the entire house, a stunning, beach-front property right off the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Real ones will be the most excited about Hannah’s closet, which is the stuff of Y2K-era Disney Channel legend. Airbnb recreated the palatial room with replicas of Hannah’s revolving closet and moving shelves, sequined cowboy boots, guitar, stiletto chair, and so much more.
Come prepared to strike many a pose, because Hannah’s closet is an Instagram feed gold mine. All the clothes and accessories aren’t just props—you can actually wear everything from her wig (not her actual wig—but as close as Airbnb could get) to her Y2K-coded skinny scarves.
To book a night, just make sure you’re on this Airbnb page at 6 a.m. PST on March 26—it’s first come, first serve, so just make sure you’re ready. The only catch is that bookings are going to go fast, so make sure you’re connected to fast WiFi. And do note that Airbnb doesn’t cover travel to Malibu, California—just the night’s stay! Hannah Montana’s Malibu house is exclusively available through Airbnb, and comes with all the standard beach house amenities (easy access to the beach, hot tub, A/C, washer and dryer, kitchen, WiFi, parking, and more).
