Are Christine and David still together from Sister Wives?
Are Christine and David still together from Sister Wives? The answer is yes. Christine Brown and David Woolley are still together after their wedding special, Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding, which aired its second and final part on January 14, 2024. Christine confirmed she and David were still together with an Instagram post of their wedding photos after the first part of their special. “Next week you can join us for our perfect wedding day!! @tlc #sisterwives #wedding,” Christine captioned an Instagram photo of her and David at their wedding.
She also shared an Instagram photo of their wedding cake with the caption, “Our DELICIOUS Wedding cakes were made by @littlefarmcakesutah Ashley is so talented!! Are you a ‘shove in the face’ or “serve nicely” fan? You’ll see our Wedding soon on TLC! #wedding #baker #delicious.”
In an interview with In Touch Weekly in January 2024, Christine explained why she and David wanted to film their wedding for Sister Wives. “We were talking about our wedding and things like that. And then just through the discussion he’s like, ‘Look, you have people that have been watching you for 14 years now and they’ve been following your story and now you have this romance and you have everything that you wanted. And I think they would appreciate watching it,’” Christine said.
Though they originally went “back and forth” on whether the wedding would be filmed, Christine explained that David thought her fans “would like watching it.” “I wanted to go to Vegas and go to the KISS place and dress in those big tall things,” David said. “But I knew she wanted her fairytale wedding, and so I wanted to give her what she wanted on that part, too. And I did, too.”
He explained that he knew Christine meant “everything” to Sister Wives viewers, which is why he agreed to have their wedding filmed. “I knew that they wanted to be part of it, and I had no problem with it,” he said. “It was different to see all the cameras and everything and all this stuff going on. I thought we were at a royal wedding, and it was like, ‘Wait a minute, this is my wedding.’ This is weird. Because there was too much attention going on. It was crazy.”
While David was caught off guard by the cameras, Christine wasn’t as bothered as she’s “only done filmed weddings.” “I don’t know anything different,” Christine said, adding that the wedding felt “really intimate and small” to her. “We had a relatively small filming crew and I’m like, ‘Wait, I think it’s really intimate.’ And I think it really isn’t. I didn’t even notice the crew. I just didn’t.”
